At the age of four I was thrust into the digital world.
My first device capable of interfacing with the net was an Apple eMac. Some years later I would develop a mild allergy to apples, although that has little bearing on my reaction to Apple Computer, Inc.
Anyway, during that period my small brain which was still growing its wrinkles was impressed to a considerable degree.
I have since learned that the «e» in «eMac» was made to stand for «education», but I would say I did not learn much on that machine.
These days many children are made to be beholden to media 'franchises' quite soon and as I was in many respects an ordinary child so it was for me. For me it was one franchise whose main property was a series of movies involving the highly dramatic lives of dinosaurs (with human souls).
